Mozart and Handel

The festival will be concluded with the cheerfully laudatory motet Regina coeli for chorus, orchestra and soloists by V. A. Mozart; magnificently majestic Coronation Anthem by Handel and the most popular part of his oratorium “Solomon’ – The Arrival of Queen Sheba. Sergejs Jēgers will sing out the filigree delicacies of Handel’s “Alcina”, and the refined soprano of Elīna Šimkus will shine brightly in the elating arias by Mozart – Exultate, Jubilate, and Laudate dominum.
