Vestards Šimkus and Čiurlionis String Quartet

Vestards Šimkus will perform together with the most well-known Lithuanian chamber ensembles – the string quartet named after Konstantinas Čiurlionis, the outstanding symbolist artist and painter. They will perform one of the chamber music masterpieces of the romanticism epoch – Piano Quintet by Robert Schumann and a new composition by Vestards himself for such a cast of performers. The concert will feature also opuses by Čiurlionis, Teisutis Makačinas and Faustas Laténas.
